Stat. Maternity pay

Anybody else really struggling on this maternity pay? I really wanted to have my full year off but my pay stops in 4 weeks and I think I’m going to have to go back soon 😔. It’s hard enough now to afford basic things nevermind with Christmas approaching.

I feel for the women that have to go back sooner than this, my boy is 7 months and I can’t imagine leaving him behind and returning to work. I’m really struggling with the thought of it, I have loved having this time with him and it breaks my heart it will be over soon.
