My bf's check goes to his mom...

Somebody please tell me I'm not alone😔 my bf's mom cant work bc of her health and she's still fighting for disability checks.. she coupons and sells bundles which doesn't bring in much money so my bf pays all of the bills (their apartment charges 1000 for rent) he works at a moving company making 18 an hour and he gets a lot of hours.

I'm struggling because my boyfriend never has gas to come see me (he lives an hour away). He never takes me out on dates. If we go get ice cream or something, I pay so he can have some. I always go to him... he hands his mom his debit card all the time. The other day she called him mad bc 40 bucks was missing out of his bank account and she accused him of "unnecessary spending".. even tho he just paid his phone bill.

What do I do??😭 my parents dont like him because he never comes to me and he never takes me out but they dont understand that his mom gets his check. I really really love him but the money situation is stressing me out.. has anybody ever gone through something similar?? (We are 21 and 19)
