Sunken fontanelle at 5 mos. Is it normal?

Hello. My lo is 5 months and i noticed she has sunken fontanelle. It doesn't stay long though sometimes it is there then suddenly it's gone. She is happy and active no other issues. I haven't noticed this before with her. She feeds every 4 hrs with 4oz breastmilk sometimes sleeps through the night with one feed only and sometimes full night without feed from 8pm to 5am. Should i be worried or this is normal?

One thing to keep in mind.. is it truly sunken or is it just fluctuating?
Fluctuating is more or less normal but to still be monitored. If possible try to offer more during feedings, or feedings more often? 
I was also scared of this in the beginning, trip to the ER scare. Do you know the finger tip trick? Try that to test hydration. 
Also if you need a peace of mind, contact the pediatrician.

I would get it checked out. Is she having enough wet diapers? Does she seem dehydrated? There’s multiple reasons it could be sunken but I would definitely check with a doctor. But then again I’m a FTM and get paranoid over everything.

Sounds like she could be dehydrated. Maybe you could add a feeding in the middle of the night at midnight?
