Can I be pregnant if having spotting?

I know there’s a million questions floating around like this. Basically my period is usually the first week of the month. Last month it was two weeks late. So now two weeks later I have super light spotting when I wipe but not needing even a pad. This is our first month TTC #3. So I’m not sure if this really light spotting is because I get my period around this time or if I could be pregnant ..pregnancy tests so far are negative. And I’m not really sure when my next period will be and such since I’m not sure if this spotting is a period. Ugh.
