Could right ovary pain be a sign of pregnancy?

Hi ladies, I did some searching through posts as I’ve had some pain on my right side around my ovary area for the last 2 days. I have never had any pain in this area so I’ve been super confused. I’m 12DPO and AF is due soon (1-2 days), and I had a very small amount of spotting today (only saw this as I used a little TP to check my vaginal canal). I have had a small amount of spotting before my last few periods so I won’t be shocked if I wake up tomorrow and AF has shown up, but with this weird pain and a pretty sore lower back I’m hoping it could be my month! I took a Premom hcg test on the 8th (Tuesday) and it was negative. Any advice appreciated! Thanks!
