Sorry about it being long!

We have been married for a year a half now. Our wedding was completely controlled by his mother. Decorating to the cake topping was all her btw we lived with her at the time.😓 The only input I got was the color and the dresses my bridesmaids maids wore and I only got to pick three of them also we had eight. It was moved from June 8 2020 to May 30 2018 in two months bc of his mother and I knew I wasn’t ready but it wasn’t my choice bc every time I said something about waiting it was me being scared to comment or my reasons were completely stupid🤷‍♀️ but we wanna do a vow renewal but everyone usually excepts someone cheated or something but we just grew together as a couple and family. We were thinking about doing it on our 5th anv. Is it tacky or stupid to redo your wedding in this situation?
