So my parents never liked me as a kid growing up and now I’m about to be 20 and having a kid. I can’t tell them. And I tried telling my friend but she wasn’t excited for me. Basically told me in too young. And I’m just scared of telling anybody. Anyone else have that?

I got pregnant right after my mom passed at 16. My moms side is very controlling and stricked when i comes down to motherly beliefes. Let them know its happening, and that you got this, cause you do! That baby will forever show you who your real friends and family are. Its who ever sticks by you through it, and supports you.

I'm 21 and my mom has been telling me for years that I'm not allowed to have kids anytime soon cause she doesn't want to be a grandma yet. I've been on my own since I was 16 so I didnt really care that she wanted me to wait but it still bothered me that she was so adamant about me not having kids. It got brought up at a family dinner once and she actually stormed out. When I told her I was pregnant she made me send her a picture of the doctor confirmation, but now she's really warm about it. You just have to hope for the best.
