Cervix lower during ovulation?

That's what happens, right? How much does it lower?

There's this position my husband and I like to do and he goes in deep, hard, and fast. Normally there's no problem, but I absolutely cannot do that position during ovulation. He seems to be hitting my cervix and it hurts. It doesn't even take much for him to hit it. It's like he puts his penis almost completely in and he hits it.

That seems to be a significant amount that my cervix is lowering. Is that normal? For it to go from him going in really deep and not hitting it, to not even getting his penis all the way in and hitting it
