Prodromal labor?? 😡 Help

40+4, last night had contractions starting around 9pm (stopped at 4am) 3-5 min apart, consistent and painful plus back labor, but would not dilate further so they sent me home at 3am. Then I went to sleep and they were gone. So frustrating I thought it would be the real deal. Has anyone experienced this while being past your due date??

I’m 12 days from my due date and I’ve been like this for the past 2/3 days and my hospital sent me home as well. 
It’s frustrating the crap out of me, cause they claim it’s early stages of labour and I could be like this for a week. 
I’m handling to pains ok but the lack of sleep is what’s getting to me and trying to looking after the rest of family.

I’m due in 10 days, but this just happened to me too a couple nights ago. Nothing else to describe it except frustrating!

This happened to me a couple nights ago and I’m 38 weeks. Contracted all day, and they finally got more intense later in the evening. Went to l&d expecting to be dilated or at least more effaced and nothing had changed from my appointment earlier that week. Beyond frustrating!
