When should I stop bleeding?

So I’m on the nexplanon and I got it September 25 well I started my period September 20-23 then I stop bleeding then I started bleeding again oct 6 and I’m still bleeding and also have dark brown discharge with it. I mean it’s not bothering me its just annoying and it’s not heavy at all I’ve been wearing panty liners. Will my periods be regular soon or will it be irregular for awhile? Is it trying to figure my cycles out? Someone help lol

Progestin only methods like Nexplanon are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding (including no bleeding at all), random bleeding, lighter bleeding, heavier bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such irregular bleeding is especially common during the first 6 months. So, it’s completely unpredictable.
