How long did you have to wait before you got your first ultrasound done?

9 weeks. Normal time is 8-12 weeks. I refuse to be seen before that anyways cause it’s to early I say.

6 weeks because I did ivf.  They wanted to make sure it wasn't ectopic.  We saw the heartbeat.

Mine was at 5 weeks because doctors thought I miscarried due to the bleeding I had. Ended up being a subchorionic hematoma. Baby was found on ultrasound at 7 weeks. And then again at 9 weeks. (They were keeping an eye on my uterus since it’s heart snapped.) Most doctors prefer to see you around 9+ weeks. I’ll have my first “official” u/s next week at 11w1d.

For my first 8 years ago it was at 20 weeks. This one was at 9 weeks because I didn’t want it earlier due to previous miscarriages and the office wanted to wait until my numbers were high enough to see something.
