How long did it take some of you ladies who’s been induced before to go into labor and have your baby? My doctor told me it can take up to days

3 days. i was 37 weeks. i didn’t sleep more than 3 hours during those 3 days. didn’t eat during the last 36 because of my epidural. and STILL ended up with an emergency c section after 7 hours of pushing. cause he just didn’t want to come out.

Counting the foley bulb to dilate me, it took me a total of 11 hours to have my baby.

With my first I had a sweep at 41 weeks and had my daughter the next day - 14 hr labor. I was induced with my 2nd- I had a cook balloon inserted at 41 weeks - was sent home. Went in at 7 am. Was dilated to 4cm. oxytocin started at 8 am, they broke my water at 10am, I had my son at 12:19. A little over 4 hr labor.
