Mirena to control PCOS
I had my very first doctors appointment with a specialist about my symptoms. She's doing a bunch of blood work but suggested the Mirena IUD to help control my symptoms. I told her it wasn't something I wanted to do, since we may want another baby soon. So she's sending me for blood work to see if I'm actually ovulating and then going from there.
Any of you ladies opted out for the Mirena and what else did your doctor give you instead? She suggested it because of the monthly yeast infections I keep getting (for the last 2.5 years)
