Does this make me picky??

My boyfriend and I went to jewelry store to just look at engagement rings. He wants to know what I like. Fair. The lady at the store asked what jumps out at you or what styles do you have in mind? He said to ask her (as in me)

So I said this:

I like white gold. I like diamonds but I wouldn't mind a tasteful gemstone such as morganite. I like cushion, emerald, oval, pear, and asher cut. I said I don't like solitaire and would prefer more of a cluster because that can be more economical. (You know, a bunch of little stones adding up to a carat is usually cheaper than a single stone that is a carat) Boom.

He said "F*ck you're so picky"

I was like no I'm not. I was asked and I answered!
