Help! My new insurance won’t cover birth control
I went to my pharmacy to pick up my birth control as usual (I get three Nuva rings every three months and it costs me nothing) mfw the pharmacist looks at me and says yeh that’ll be $600.

That’s when I remembered because my father recently got a new job at a religious catholic school, the new insurance we get from it refuses to pay for my Nuva ring/ any kind of contraceptive. Apparently they won’t pay for it unless it’s essential to my health and as long as I don’t use it as a contraceptive. Total assholes! I’ve been on the Nuva ring since I was 17 and I’m 20 now. Im afraid that the lack of hormones will mess with my body. Any advice on how to handle this?
