How do I tell?

How do you tell someone that you’re interested in that you have an STD? I don’t want to give them a sob story of how I was willingly given the virus? Do I start with facts or??? Very confusing and conflicting time for me.

Update: I see everyone saying I’m purposely giving out STD’s no I’m not. I was in a relationship with a man whom I trusted. He knowingly gave me an STD without my knowledge. I have Herpes Type 1. I’ve also have medicine for the virus and I’m wanting to move forward instead of everyone assuming I haven’t made any moves to help myself.
