Is this a legit reason to break up?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years. He’s 20. I  love him a lot but he is very mean to his mom. He acts annoyed at her for any little thing but he treats his dad completely different. He will apologize to his dad and treat him with respect but when it comes to his mom he has no patience and yells at her. He expects her to cook for him even when she’s been at work for 12 hours and he hasn’t been at work. Is this a reason to break up?

YES. How a man treats his mother (assuming their was no abuse or trauma causing on her end towards him while he was growing up) says A LOT (pretty much everything) about he treats the significant women and his life, meaning you. Definitely a reason to break up

How a man treats his mama is how he WILL treat you. Maybe not now. Maybe let’s say he treats like a princess but once you’re married he’ll expect you to do EVERY LITTLE THING his mom did. A man is respectful to his mother. 5 years is a long time but its not forever. You’re 20 so nows the time to end it before you end married with kids and you’re stuck in this relationship where he expects you to do what his mother does and treats you horribly

I believe that a man will treat his wife similarly to how he treats his mom. You know he'll expect you to cook dinner for him every day no matter how long you work...
Mention it to him and give him a chance to work on it before you just break up with him. Maybe something happened in their past that you don't know about, and it may be none of your business. But at least talk to him
