I was sexually assaulted by a boy in my year, for 4 years and never said anything about it until last september. it had been happening since i was 13 and hadn’t been in high school long. we were friends and were fine when we were w a group, but as soon as he was left alone w me he would do everything possible that made me feel uncomfortable. Breaking point for me was i told him i had a boyfriend and later that day he started kissing me and pinned me down in a field and forced himself on top of me, held me down by my neck and touched me. When i finally came forward and spoke to a teacher there was nothing they could do without evidence so all they done was move me out of classes and into isolation which caused me to fail nearly all my higher exams. A year later, i’m in a happy relationship where i put all my trust in him and i’ve moved on.
