I have always been an atheist, but I would like to be more spiritual and am interested in the community aspect of some organized religions. My area has a Unitarian Universalist church and a Quaker (friends) group. Would any of you fellow atheists consider attending one of those options? I don't think I can get myself to believe in a god, and I don't want to feel like I have to - but these sound like the closest options to something I could find useful for cultivating some sort of spirituality. Do you personally know anyone that attends churches like Quaker or Unitarian? Do they believe in god? Thanks in advance my fellow atheists.
