How does contractions work?

How do you time contractions ? 
What's it feel like.
I'm first time mom, this all new to me...
I'm getting induced this Sunday, but just incase he comes before that

I’m not sure, just what I’ve been told. A real contraction will be from the top of your ribs all the way down and feel like a cramp but really painful. 
But idk 😐 I’m so scared 😭 sounds painful.

There were zero questions when mine started w my first son. I was like ohhh yup this must be it 😂 like a poop cramp Times 4000000!

For me it was bad back cramps, like bad period pains and then the tightness cramping in your belly

For me they felt like really really as poop cramps. You start the timer when it begins and then stop it when it ends. Then start it again when another one happens. You’ll know when you are having contractions. You won’t be able to miss it.
