Low Platelet Count

I went in today for my 12 week appointment and my dr says I have low platelet count and that they will be cautiously monitoring me throughout the pregnancy...

Any one have this issue? Is there anything to help reverse it? This is my 1st pregnancy so I'm just a little worried and dr didn't give me much info.
