1st night was sooooo hard took him 4o minutes to fall asleep on his own bed. Hysterically crying and checking up on him every 5 minutes not picking him up just rubbing his back and assuring him I was there.

He woke up about 2x throughout the night mind you he was waking up constantly all night as we co slept and nursed throughout the night.

Today I made sure for every nap to put him in his crib and let him fall asleep on his own when I knew he was sleepy. He napped twice second nap he gave me a 3 hour nap! 🥰

Tonight I read him his book turned down the lights nursed him and seen that he was falling asleep. So I did it put him in his crib and he knocked out within 5 minutes. I’m in ahhhhhhh right now I’m sad and shocked because I’m very attached to my son. But I’m also very happy because I’m hoping we will both be able to get some better rest sleeping separate.
