Baby shower thank you gifts?

How common is it to get thank you gifts for those that hosted your shower? We didn’t get many of the big items on our registry, which is fine, but now I have to purchase it leaving me a little less cash than I thought. I had intended to get the four people who put together my shower gifts but looking at my budget I don’t know how. 😩 the shower was perfect and I loved it so much. Is a gift necessary? Or any ideas on something cheap I could get?

We are just doing a thank you card for them... I’ve never heard of a gift. It is a kind thought tho.

You could always make them something inexpensive like a tin of cookies or a set of body scrubs (mix coconut oil, sugar and essential oils if you have them, if not you can add vanilla extract, cinnamon, etc that will make them smell good and put them in little mason jars).

I wasn’t planning on getting my hosts a gift.  It’s my mom, mother in law, and aunt who are throwing it.  I know they don’t expect anything either.  Honestly I feel this shower is just as much for them as me, because of how involved and excited they are for the baby 🤷🏻‍♀️

 Spend like 10$ tops on it amd it's just a nice little thank you hostess gift

Where I’m from, it’s standard to get hostess gifts. It doesn’t have to be extravagant at all. I’m shopping sales as much as possible and spending about $15 for each hostess. I’ve seen things like candles, hand soap/lotion, gift cards, etc.
