Advice please

So I tested positive strongly for pregnancy. I then had brown discharge and pink which is fine. It then turned to blood but not a lot and no big clots. Happened for 2 days. I’ve now tested negative on a test. Getting bloods taken tomorrow because if it was miscarriage HCG would still stay in my system. I haven’t bled much or been in any bad pain. Twins run in both sides of the family? Any advice at all? I got so used to thinking I had a miscarriage and now I don’t even know
