Yeast infection 😬

So I usually get yeast infections once a year so I know when they come around. I got one recently and I cured it and waited way longer than a week to have sex. I also didn’t use the kind of medicine brand I usually get, I used a cheaper one. Today after having sex after a week and a half it burned really bad afterwards. I’ve had no symptoms prior to that. Should I go to a doctor or try a different medicine first

I forgot to add that I usually get an uti around this time as well too. Could it have been both at once ?
