Sex to induce labor?

How well does it actually work? I feel like it would take a couple weeks for it to help soften the cervix and such.

I did it with my first 2 pregnancies. My 1st I went into labor about 3 hrs after and my 2nd I went into labor like immediately after. I got up after it and went to the bathroom and it was over. Had to get ready and we went to the hospital. My son was born almost 3 hrs later. I hope it happens with this pregnancy also!!
