Strep B positive?!

Anyone else have a positive result come back? Did everything turn out OK? Worried FTM

I was a strep b baby (back in 1989 before they tested for it). I ended up in the hospital for a week at 2 months old with meningitis. No long term complications. I also tested positive for it several years ago when I had vaginosis.

I was group b positive with my first child over 9 years ago, negative for the next 2 babies and now positive again for my 4th baby. I'm not worried. Just have to be on antibiotics during labor and delivery.

I tested positive with my son... Received antibiotics during labor as expected, but had zero complications from it. Spent two nights in the hospital and went home! No issues, it's not a big deal :). Don't stress!

I had it with my son you have two hours to get to the hospital after your water breaks before it can get to the baby that's what they told me they gave me so much antibiotics I had bag after bag for three days I was in labor and my pee smelt so bad I gaged myself and everyone in the room could smell it lol good times I felt so bad for the nurse cause they had to measure the urine and she had to dump it everytime but my baby came out fine

My sister just went through it,  they kept baby a couple hours longer than they kept her.

I was positive when I gave birth to my son. Make sure you get to the hospital in enough time for them to give you BOTH rounds of antibiotics! I didn't get there in enough time, but thankfully we had no complications because of it.
