Help please

So I got a BFP about a week or so ago. I was 5 weeks pregnant. Everything was going ok. I had brown discharge and then for a couple days I had a kind of ‘light period’ no pain or clots. Still have my symptoms of pregnancy, hormonal, heightened sense of smell, continuously weeing, tired. But took another test and said negative. Then took another couple days later with the faintest of lines. Had bloods done today but wondered if anyone has had anything similar? Just want to know what’s going on. I feel like it definitely wasn’t a miscarriage as I didn’t bleed much or have any clots or pain. Could it be the hook effect (if anyone’s heard of it before)?
