Depo shot hell

So I got the depo shot maybe 4 months ago. It lasts 3. I never went back for my next injection. The last few weeks have been hell. I haven't had a period in over 2 months but my hormones are raging. It's like constant PMS.. emotional, bloated, very sore breasts, etc. I know that every woman is different, but has anyone had this experience and will it stop anytime soon?? I'm sure my hormones are just balancing out, but it's unbearable and causing issues in my relationship.
