Do you tell your husband that you will be trying a preg. test?

Question

I honetly never tell him for the simple reason that if it results in positive I would LOVE to surprise him in some way. 
But it always turned out negative (including this morning 💔) and so I always find it so hard to simply tell him that I tried one out but it was negative 😔
I’m always dissapointed with the result and it breaks my heart that I would have to dissapoint him as well! 
What about you guys?

I never tell mine because 1. I’d like to surprise him and 2. what’s the point of telling him that I’m going to test. He knows what happens every month by the test packaging in the trash so I don’t feel the need to bring it to his attention unless the test is positive.

I always tell him because I feel like it's a moment we should share, hes the potential baby's dad so it wouldn't feel right hiding it from him.

I wasn’t going to tell my husband yesterday till last night I said af not turned up and said I took cheap test was negative he just said wait and test a few days as I’m still waiting for af. I get more disappointed then him he just says we will keep trying
