First time on birth control

I started birth control oct 12 Saturday at 1pm. It is now Saturday Oct 19 at 2pm. I take my birth control once a day at 1pm. I started spotting like my doctor said I would. And I’ve been receiving a little acne. But I think started my period today because there was more blood like when I first start. I was wondering do I keep taking the active pills or do I take the placebo until I’m off?If I do wait and keep taking the placebo will I have another period during the placebo? My birth control is Blisovi 24 Fe
