Is Iui worth it?

Question

Next month my RE said we could do iui or timed sex with letrozole and a trigger shot. My insurance covers nothing  for fertility. The iui will cost about 2,000 per cycle and timed sex would be about 1,200 for monitoring and meds. Which one would you  choose? 
We both just turned 25 and have been trying 2 and a half years. We've done 3 failed rounds on clomid. I have stage 2 endometriosis, and only one tube. We do not have any Male factor

Ugh. Honestly, mine was a bit more than that so we chose to go straight to IVF.  It's a terrible decision to have to be faced with🥴 but for the most part, IUI doesn't have much more of a success rate than a natural cycle and our decision was based on that coupled with the finances (our insurance covers nothing as well, wahoo)!

Personally I would go with iui. Iui worked the first time for me when it was properly timed.

I'm doing letrozole and times sex right now! Seems like it'll be worth it cost wise. Any money saved is worth it in my eyes if it'll work. I exhausted every possible way before we went to fertility because of cost

I've heard usually IUI isnt recommended for endo cases.

iui worked first time for us but everyone is different. It all depends on what you can afford and how invasive you are prepared for the process to be. There is no easy answer, sorry x
