Midwifes brew??

I know this has been asked before but anyone take the midwifes brew and go into labor? And if you did how long after taking it?

I did consider it but the doctor said no way as it can be dangerous for baby.

I took it 10-16 this was my second attempt as i was desperate to get baby out. If people do their research u will see the almond butter counteracts with the castor oil and helps u not dehydrate or get the runs 💩 but i also got the ok to drink it . So i took it around 7pm but prior to that i did a few exercises and bounced on my ball. Anyways i took it around 7pm and started feeling contractions around 8pm but they were very minor so i went to bed at around 10pm and slept through the contractions.
I get up at 1am to pee and felt a super strong contraction and i knew i just had to go in (idk instinct i guess) so we get to the hospital 10-17 now at around 2:00am get admitted quickly and my contractions are getting intense each one that u get was worse than the last one. So I’m waiting in triage to see if I’ll get admitted or not and being monitored and my water broke all i heard was a big pop and felt it all come out . The pain got so intense after that tho it was awful i was begging for the epidural . Not even 5 min into the actual delivery room and i needed to push and his head was already crowning the moment i pushed. I pushed 1 more time and he came out ! No epidural i had no time!! I think the midwives brew definitely worked and wonder if i wouldn’t have took it if my labor would have been this fast! Hope this helped :)

Tried it yesterday at 8am and I'm still pregnant. I had consistent contractions 10 minutes apart starting around 1pm but by 6pm they were gone 😖

I drank it yesterday at 39+1 (for the second time) and it did nothing but give me contractions that were about 3 mins apart. I went to the hospital and my cervix was still only 1cm which I’ve been for weeks. So I went home and then they stopped :( 
However, my midwife did a membrane sweep on me while I was at the hospital so hopefully that’ll do something !! 🤞🏻

I was thinking about taking it, but I heard it can make baby poop in the uterus and i guess that can cause infection and or death. I’m not how true that is? But I’m not risking it.
