Sleep training regression?

The night from hell. I'm currently up listening to my baby SCREAMING she has done so well with sleep training and tonight she is just a mess. I don't know if it's teething but she is not having it. I honestly don't know what to do she won't stop crying. Do I just get her? I really am at a loss

My little one is sleep trained and used to go to sleep without crying. Now she’s crying for a good 5 minutes before knocking out. Takingcarababies on Instagram mentioned this week that the 8-10 month sleep regression can start as early as 7 months and wrote a blog about it. I’m attaching the picture of her post. This was helpful in me understanding that I wasn’t doing anything wrong and it’s just something we have to deal with.

My son does this when he's teething. I usually give him something for it since crying won't help the sleep situation. Sometimes he'll fall asleep again only to wake up a few mins later crying. We have orajel and tylenol if it's really bad

My son was a great sleeper and then did this a couple nights. He ended up having an ear infection. It might be worth a check!

Ugh. It's our 3rd night of this. He sits up and crawls around in his crib, but absolutely will not lay back down. He falls half-asleep while sitting, then jerks awake when he starts to lean. Last night I  sat on the floor by his crib holding his hand through the rails many times to keep him from sitting up the entire night. Which he did the night before. I used extinction to sleep train him, but it is definitely not working for this sitting/crawling compulsion.

Sorry to hear that. My LO was getting up more when he had a cold as he couldn’t breathe well. We had to sleep train him again when he got better as he got into a habit of waking every 2 hours again!! 
If you can rule out teething, developmental milestones or illness, it might be due to his naps. 
I find that if my 7 month old cant sleep more than 13 hours in total, so if he is sleeping 8.30-7.30 at night, he can’t sleep more than 2 hours during day time. Otherwise he wakes up during nighttime and struggle to fall asleep again (he does eventually, but it takes him up to an hour!) It might be worth tweaking your LO’ naps. Has s/he dropped the third nap?

My son did this, he’d been doin so well with sleep training and was sleeping through with 1 feed a night then after week or so he started waking up often and we thought he was teething so went to comfort him, fast forward 3 weeks he was waking up every 30 mins to an hour and he wasn’t teething so I think he’d been mugging us off for 3 weeks straight 🙃🙃🙃 we tried sleep training him again once we couldn’t cope anymore and probably the first night or 2 he was sleeping through again! We did notice that he started trying to wake up more often again this time but i honestly just think he’s testing us 🤷🏼‍♀️
