how do i friendzone someone that likes me without being rude and losing him as a friend? (he’s 16 i’m 15)
he’s super sweet, athletic, fit, smells nice and has a nice smile and eyes but i’m just not interested like that :/ i feel bad because i asked if he was joking and i think that made him upset..

Just tell him straight from the beginning you have no interest in being anything more than friends. Be honest a d direct. If he won't be friends with you after that, it's his choice but you're probably better off because you then know he never had an interest in you as anything other than a potential girlfriend. 
You don't want to beat around the bush about this. Ever. Some guys just don't get it. Some guys take a soft/gentle no as a maybe or a not right now.
