Homeowners & SAHM

My hubby and I are planning on buying a house within a year. However, we plan to start ttc right after our wedding early 2016 and so the likely hood of me working and having an income when we apply for a mortgage is low. I have w good paying job now but I may be a SAHM when we apply. Has this worked out for any of you? My husband makes about 65-70 thousand a year alone and my income only adds about 20 more to that. Do you think it'd make a huge difference and prevent us from being approved for a decent loan? I'm starting to wonder if we should prolong ttc or just stick to the plan..
