Age gap too much?

I’m talking to a guy that is going to be turning 30, I am 22. Is 8 years too much? He’s super sweet and respectful and doesn’t seem his age.

The age gap isn't the issue, but your actual age could be. You're adult brain is still forming. If you are ok with the inherent imbalance of power then it's not an issue. But if you're concerned then you should wait until closer to 25 before getting involved in a relationship with a large age gap.
