Estrogen level before IVF retrieval cycle

I did bloodwork & an ultrasound today to get everything checked out before we start meds next week for our first IVF cycle. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

She said my estrogen was 66 and they want it to be 60. They’re doing a recheck on Friday morning to see if it’s lower.

Has anyone had issues with their lab work before meds? Do they sometimes not go forward with the cycle bc of something like that? I should’ve asked while the nurse was on the phone but I was scared to hear the answer 😬🤦🏼‍♀️
