Is it problematic for cis white women to have a clear preference for dating black men?

Something I’ve always been personally conflicted about and it’s naturally a tricky topic to discuss in most settings.
Would love people’s thoughts on this.

This one is a bit tricky because I already think racial preferences in general are weird.
I guess it's fine as long as it's not fetishization. Respect the culture, respect black women, don't think you've earned a N word pass and it shouldn't be a problem

Sort of, or it can definitely be.
Fetishizing a race is unfair to the individual person, who is not just defined by their race. 
It's usually more problematic for people to say they "aren't attracted to (whatever race)" - at least that's my opinion with the amount of information I have on the topic so far. I used to say that, but then I realized I was totally full of shit, I'm attracted to any race, it's just who I do or don't connect with emotionally. And I think society somehow instilled weird ideas into my younger self about race even though I wasn't exposed to overt racism as a child and was raised to respect everyone equally. I thought I did, and yet, many years ago I said that, and I didn't think it was racist- but it is! 
We should all hold ourselves accountable for problematic and subconscious biases, so we can all become better. Being defensive about it makes you look like an entitled toddler imo. I don't know why people won't just hear each other out if they don't want to be racist. If you don't want to be racist, listen to people of other races & their experiences. If you are scared, grow up.

I think being exclusively attracted to one race is problematic, being exclusively "not attracted" to a race is problematic. Being attracted to a certain race most often is probably not a problem. It probably depends on who you are around to even become attracted to...

I think who ever should be with who ever as long as your open who you are with your partner . Which is a good rule of thumb for any relationship to work. If any one else has a issue with it then that’s their problem no one else’s

I don't think it's INHERENTLY problematic, but it usually comes with fetishization, which is problematic. 
It's also problematic if you put down others who you're not attracted to to boost your own preference.

I would think it’s offensive to anyone if you are primarily interested in them because of the color of their body parts. It’s sort of dehumanizing if someone only dates X type of person (not including genitalia because that attraction is inborn and not environment created).
