Ovarian Cyst!

I went to the hospital Wednesday due to horrible pain on my right side pelvic area lower right side back and sharp pains going down my leg. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours (which is honestly not that bad). When I got into my room the doctor came in felt around on my belly and said I have a cyst on my ovary. I've been bleeding for 8 days on and off. He said that it should go ahead in a few weeks and gave me pain medicine. He didn't do a CT or sonogram so how could he say it's a cyst on my ovary? Also I feel like I'm going to die. I'm in so much pain the pain medicine helps a good bit but it only last for about an hour and I don't want to over dose. I feel like I'm going to puke but I don't. Can anyone advise me on what I need to do? Thanks!

PS. I'm sorry if this post is all over the place or doesn't make sense I'm just in really bad pain and can't think straight. Thanks for your advice in advance!
