Baby due December - pram suit advice?

I know they cannot wear a pram suit in car seat, I’m just wondering if it’s worth buying? 
She’s due end of December and I’ll be walking on the school run and weather depending hopefully walks. 
People say about baby not overheating ect so is it better just to wear a cardi and an extra blanket?

I prefer putting my little one in extra layers and having a footmuff so I can take off layers if she gets too hot but I use the snowsuit/pramsuit if we are walking in the carrier or wrap 😊

My baby’s got the first one although she is older it’s definitely good to have one I’d just check the back of her neck every so often to make sure she’s not over heating you really don’t want your newborn to be cold either of course and pram suits are less hassle

@thea they have this in Asda which has double zips which has been recommended so it’s easier

If your walking to school I would buy one.. especially with early morning the weather so cold. 1st ones pretty.. Also if you use a baby carrier these are perfect keeping baby warm as they legs won’t get cold.. I’ve always brought one for my babies for walking the dog in the winter and I baby wear a lot..

I find it hard because my little girl was born on Boxing Day last year, but we have to drive to school as it's about 40 mins away.. so I don't put it on her in the car but I'll put it on when we get to the school to walk in or put her in the buggy, but one that will preferably be a little big as there horrible to get on when there tight! Xx

We never really got much use out of pram suits, but used a car seat blanket a lot (morrck blanket). I found this helpful as I could just unwrap my baby and let him finish a nap if he had fallen asleep.
