Anybody suffer with PCOS?

Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for the last 3 years. I've had 3 miscarriages in this time. My first at 22 weeks, second at 12 weeks and my third at 15 weeks. I haven't conceived for a year now.. My last scan I found out I had PCOS. My GP said the cysts aren't big enough for a LOD. Has anyone ever had this problem? & what can I do😪

Ask to be refered to a specialist.  Miscarriages especially 3 that far along and with the diagnosis,  you should be seeing a fertility Dr.  Not just an Ob.

See an OB that has experience treating PCOS.  That's the biggest and best tip!!

I had my first period at 9 and was formally diagnosed at 13 and put on the pill. The OB at children's was rude and told me "Now Patty Anne, this is not a free license to have sex willy nilly." It took all I had not to gut check her. Instead I told her "Boys are gross, boys will always be gross. I am a child, and intend to remain ad such until I see fit. Madam."

I went through 4-5 more OBs like that and I'd have to explain PCOS to them Then I met the last 2 OBs, the first one put me in metformin and mirena. It was amazing.

Now I've been weened off metformin because the combination of the IUD Skyla coupled with cutting all soy, beef/dairy products from cows treated with rbst, as well as chia and flax seeds has helped me start ovulating again, reduced my hairiness and helped me drop 30 pounds in 6 months!! The most exciting development was that we got pregnant with the IUD and we made it to 9 weeks before I miscarried for the 3rd time. For us that is a HUGE VICTORY over PCOS and means that we may not even make it to the second phase of our fertility action plan!

Fertility Action Plans are very important, even if you're not TTC PCOS is a whole body disease and treating it involves diet modifications, medications and careful monitoring of symptoms.

Our action plan is that I take Skyla out, and get back on metformin for 3 months, no trying. Then we try for 3 months with metformin, if there's no baby; I go in for even more extensive testing, and will probably be declared infertile.  We then add in a drug similar to Clomid for 3 more months. If that doesn't work we either do 2-3 rounds each of IVF, or surrogacy. And if there's still no baby then we'll just adopt the 3-4 children we've always wanted.

Sorry to hear about all your losses 😢hugs! My husband and i have been trying for 2 years, I too have pcos, although the doctor that diagnosed me did nothing for me, so I am in the middle of trying to switch to a better clinic to see what they can do to help me! Baby dust to you, I know it's frustrating 😢

I have PCOS what you can do is try to have a healthy diet loose weight if you can. Even though because of PCOS it is hard to. You can get on medication to help you ovulate. If you are skipping periods then you need to get your period. I got pregnant the first time without trying but I mmc at 9 weeks and been trying ever since with no luck on Metformin and provera atm to start my periods.
