Such a blessing!

My doctor and I chat like we’re friends & I know a lot of it is just because she’s my dr and she needs to know how I feel. But we’ve talked personally about her life (her daughter is a few years younger than me so she was asking advice). And she always has concerns for me cause I’m 36 weeks pregnant and our house got flooded in a huge storm. So she was asking me about how everything was. And I bust out crying saying how someone I know is due 3 weeks before me and they lost stuff too, including the car seat and clothes they had for the baby. But we weren’t financially stable to help them buy stuff, we just gave them things we had extra of because I mean we’re staying in an apartment while still paying for our house, etc. Well, that was two weeks ago. She called me today to remind me of my appointment for tomorrow. And ask if that person had her baby yet. I told her no. And she asked if she had a car seat yet. I told her how she got one used but was scared to use it for obvious reasons. She told me to bring my friend if she could go and that they bought a brand new car seat for her, baby clothes, diapers, blankets, etc 😭 I started crying for her because that’s such a blessing. And she told me she got me a $100 gift card because she knows I have mostly everything already but that she knows I need a few things. She’s such a wonderful person. This is my second baby to go to her with and I literally beg EVERYONE to go. She’s such a blessing.
