Just looking for opinions here! My son’s old preschool teacher and one of my good friends just recently took over a daycare. It’s a bit out of the way, it would take about 25 minutes to get there, and I work from home but the baby can’t stay here during the day. My husband would most likely do drop offs and he is sort if urging me to try to find somewhere closer. We live in the middle of nowhere so there really isn’t much out there that I haven’t used before or looked at. The places near us are also $80-$100 more a month because there aren’t as many. I use that as my argument to him saying that we’ll save money but he’s convinced it will be the same when you factor in the gas to get to the further place. I trust this woman and another teacher she took with her and really want my baby to go there. Would you sacrifice care for cost or driving? I want to commit to her place before it’s too late. The last place I looked at around here was so much more money and I hated it. Thanks!
