Waxing Pre C-Section

Hello ladies, so I’ve been told that I have to deliver via c-section due to having velamentous cord insertion.

I just had a full Brazilian wax, as I’ve been doing for years. Now the question is will they still shave me pre op or will they see there’s no hair and not shave?

I’m sorry if this question sounds stupid but I’ve been waxing for years and the hairs are so soft and light, I’m scared of the hairs growing back itchy and thick if they shave me. Especially since I don’t want it to grow thick and itchy in the incision site and have to deal with ingrown hairs.
