Trying to get back with my ex boyfriend

Hi everyone, I am hoping to get a bit of guidance here.

My ex and I dated for 2 years and we ended things about a year ago. We have recently (this pst month) discussed about trying again and we went out this past sunday to dinner. We texted on Monday but but he hasnt texted since then. I feel like he says he wants to work on things but then doesnt pay attention to me. He’s always been like this even when we were dating so idk if to think that it’s just his personality or to think that he’s not really interested?

Also, how can I make him want me? Do i ignore him?

Any advice?
