Advice??

Question

Can anyone give me some advice?

I have very sweaty armpits. Just my armpits if I go to town, at school, at work, or at a group get together and anyone says anything to me or compliments me I instantly sweat. I only wear black or white shirts because its so embarrassing to me I want to wear colors but I'm not confident enough. I wear Dove Antipersperent deodorant but it doesn't seem to work at all can anyone give me advice I just want to feel confident and wear colors for once without be embarrassed

My sister had that she went to her doctor and he gave her a prescription thing to use in the shower and it completely took care of it I would say go to your doctor

Try men's deodorant..... it's stronger than women's

When I used to have that problem.. I tried CErtain-Dri.. Its at Walgreens and I believe walmart... Works great

I've had the same problem since beginning of high school. Just recently, I've discovered that I have anxiety, bipolar and depression. I'm now a junior in college. The sweating has lessened, but still an issue when I go out shopping. I hate it.

My sister actually has a disorder in which she sweats profusely... She gets Botox in her armpits to control her sweating every 6 months or so and that helps her a lot

I have happened to hav inherited my dad's family's trademark smirk, killer legs, height, hourglass figure...... and the sweaty hairy never ever gets cold (even at 10 below, I wore shorts and a hoody with vibrant, it was quite pleasant, my husband was in a parka and snow pants/bootd) gene. I also seemed to have been passed over for graceful elegance. I don't seem to have grown out of that toddler phase of falling and tripping over nothing.

My advice is to wear shorts, skirts and capris most of the year paired with whatever top you want, no one notices sweaty pits, or in my case sweaty pits, underboob, face and every where else.

Also see a therapist, if it's in public it might be a mild form of social anxiety. For me the best treatment was cognitive behavioural therapy.

Before the nervous sweats starts I notice other warning signals for an anxiety attack. So I rub my belly 2x clockwise then 2x counterclockwise. It helps me refocus and calm down. Try that and see if it helps!

Dry another brand of deodorant. A simple switch may help. Good luck!
