HCG 377 for 4 weeks 6 days?

Question

First pregnancy here! I got my first blood draw and Dr called and said my HCG was 377 and my progesterone was very very low so she suspects this is a non viable pregnancy. I go back in tomorrow to repeat.. My LMP was Sept 20 so that would put me at around 5 weeks? Is that not a normal HCG? Shouldn’t She put me on progesterone? Any thoughts? Would love brutal honesty right now...

I’d go and see someone different . She seems to not care . I think she should’ve put you on progesterone too . 😒

377 sounds low.  At 5weeks exactly mine was 3854.  Every person and pregnancy is different and it’s usually the second blood draw that’s the most important.  I would wait and see what your next number is to make sure it’s doubling.  Good luck!

It’s a low number but she should put you on progesterone.
With my second pregnancy mine were about 10,000 around 5/6wks. But there was no baby yet and they wanted me to get a DNC. I waited a few more weeks and there was the fetal pole. 
My sons 19 months now.

Ask her to be put on progesterone. If it’s ‘too low’ then sometimes dr sees no reason to try.
