Second cycle cancelled-BD anyways??

Question

Honestly, what would you ladies do??

I am on CD7 of second cycle and it was cancelled because I have three leading follicles (11mm, 11mm and 12mm).

The clinic won't do iui with anything more than 2 and aim for one.

They gave me my trigger to take and by then my follicles will be about 17/18mm (if they grow 2mm a day) and said don't have sex due to multiples risk.

I can't help but think maybe we will give it a shot?? If it hasn't worked this whole time who's to say it will now... I've read soooo many stories...

What would you do? I'm desperate and want to mail my DH!!!

I had 4 good follicles  in June... I had sex anyway and got pregnant with a singleton( unfortunately I miscarried) but I say go ahead and do it anyway! It gives you better chances of getting one!

If you're ok with the idea of twins/triplets, and you're educated on and accept the increased risk of complications that multiples may bring, why not? No pointing wasting nice follicles ;) Best of luck for a preggy eggy

I had 2 leading follicules at 18mm... and I concieve with a trigger and iui.... my doctor and I are both hoping for twins!!

My office was the opposite. They wanted multiple follicles but not too many and twins was a definite possibility. My 2nd IUI was successful so I am grateful for the assistance I got. I did end up with twins 😊

I was on my 8th cycle when it finally worked and I had 7 follicles and possibly 2 more that cycle. Most of my other cycles I had between 2 and 5 mature follicles at time of iui. I would go for it!!
