Nipple piercings during pregnancy?!

Ladies, are they worth maintaining? Can I even do that? I’m not particularly torn over it, more curious than anything.... I’ve seen the maternity barbells, but I’ve read you can’t nurse with them, which makes sense. Anyone with experience? I’m a 1st time mommy just looking for some advice on this 🤷🏻‍♀️ like I said, I can live without them so if they gotta go, they gotta go 🤷🏻‍♀️ let me know 😊

You can still have them you just have to take them out to breast feed then you can put them back in. Or I have heard some people will just pump and leave them in.

Mine started to hurt too bad once my breast started to grow during my first pregnancy so i just took them out and never put them back in. They closed up. I miss them but in the long run it would not have been worth the maintenance to me.

I took mine out while in labor because I forgot I had them in still. I breastfed for a year and they went back in. Fast forward 4 years and I got pregnant again. Took them out a few weeks before he was due, breastfed for 19 months and they didn’t go back in. I tried around 8 months and nothing 😭 I had mine done since I was 22, currently 30
